News and Upcoming Februray 7, 2007 Der Lied des Midgard is currently finishing up rehearsal to begin their international tour. Starting in London, England on the 14 and working their way to end in Toronto, Canada on April 12. The players will be making other stops throughout the countries they visit while on tour. However, the main concerts will be on the dates listed on the site. Any other information can be found through the hall websites linked on the tour page, as they organize these special local events. Tickets for the February 14 show at the Royal Albert Hall in London are currently sold out. Check back for more information this summer with the updated Fall Season Calender. Featured Wagner's acclaimed Der Ring des Nibelungen is set for the Spring 2008 season for Der Lied des Midgard. The orchestra will be teaming up with the London Royal Opera House to bring a spectacular performance. As a result of the amount of time that will be needed to get ready for something on such a scale the Fall 2007 Season will be slightly shorter and not as many performances are scheduled.
